I have been a member of the chamber for a few years and thought it was a good thing...I have a really nice rep who has been very helpful...but any good will is now gone after what they have helped in doing to the police and firemen period ....I have taken down our plaque that was on the wall and will not renew my membership in the Memphis chamber again...we have always given police and firemen a 10% discount but during these trying times for them any purchase of $299 and up on a mattress, mattress set or any furniture from our catalog and they will receive a 20% discount ...they just need to make sure they mention it when they come in and have their police or fireman ID with them...our city council, the mayor and his staff and the chamber need to have a serious check up from the neck up...they would be reacting the same exact way if their health insurance and pensions were being messed with and taken away too!
