I have been accused (justly) of playing mind games with people, or in some instances, allowing mind games to be played on people. Those who accuse me of this are correct. :-) However, this is not something that I have hidden. Grant it, until recently, I did not reveal to anyone who was being tested or how. However, many of those who chose or attempted to be close to me and this work will attest that I have played what they would call mind games that they often did not understand. From the onset of this work (2004) I proclaimed, in regards to my mission in proceeding with this work: I was told that I would be given many opportunities to meet those who were being prepared at this time to aid me in this work, but I was cautioned to test each one, so as not to be deceived or betrayed by them. I was also instructed in many other things that I cannot reveal at this time. (The Sealed Portion--The Final Testament of Jesus Christ, Appendix 1, How I Received The Gold Plates, pg. 586.) Part of the many other things [in which I was instructed] included a clear understanding of how I would test each one of those who were being prepared at this time to aid me in this work. The most important thing to keep in mind as one tries to understand why these games were necessary, is that not in any case, did I search for, entice, solicit, or ask for anyone to aid me in this work. Everyone who has come to know me and had a desire to be close to me and be a part of this work DID SO OF THEIR OWN FREE WILL AND CHOICE without any manipulation or motivative persuasion on my part. It was their desire alone, not mine, to become involved with me and make this work a part of their lives. It was their desire alone, not my desire, to help me in this work. If I would have had it MY WAY, I would have done this work alone with the assistance of Timothy, John, Mathoni, Mathonihah, and the Urim and Thummim. In my mind, it would have been much easier, less complicated, and done with much, much less imperfect human drama. :-) But this is NOT MY WORK! And all those who are currently associated with me and who have passed the tests, realize that without this work and their involvement with me, their lives would be as meaningless as mine was during the 12 years (1991 to 2003) that I refused to have any involvement in this work. These are those who were given me of the Father, as the man Jesus said of his disciples: John 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. John 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. John 17:6 I have manifested thy name unto the men [and women] which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. John 17:7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. John 17:8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. John 17:9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. John 17:10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. It was their Holy Ghost (the Father) that led them to me and this work. Each of their personal stories testifies of the miraculous way in which each was drawn to this work. Before any of them met me personally, each read the Sealed Portion with an open mind and a sincere heart, seeking for truth... a truth that would one day set them free! There have been many who read the Sealed Portion, gained a personal testimony that it was true and then had a desire to get to know me personally. Those who made the effort to meet me personally were tested. I was instructed to test each and every person who was interested in helping with this work in any way. Most failed the test and either justified my rejection of their help and friendship as my not understanding them or because of my personal misjudgment of them. Many of those whom I rejected believed that I became a rouge maverick who does things his own way, regardless of what God would have done. For in their minds, they cannot imagine that God would not want them to be a part of his work. The desire to be involved in the true Gods work is typical of our shared human nature. It is a desire within us all that has existed since our foundation as newly created free willed human beings: All of us want to be doing the right thing and feel a need to be included with anything that is worthwhile and gives value to human existence. It is part of our foundationalized humanity to desire to do things like our first examples of humanity (our advanced human creators) do things. We were aware that they were the Gods of their own Universe and had powers that any free willed being would want. We realized that we were created in their image... and had our choice to be just like them. If we chose, then we too could have their power and do what they do. What they do is known as the work of the Father. In our Universe, we are its center and the only one who controls what we experience in it. Upon recognizing ourselves as such, we have a desire to maintain control of all that happens in our Universe for the sake of our own happiness. We all desire to be as our Creators and possess their powers and abilities. However, few will ever be granted the ultimate human abilities that are reserved only for those who chose to use them for the sake of all righteousness. All righteousness is nothing more or less than supporting human life experience throughout the Universe as it has always been done, as it is being done, and as it will continue to be done... worlds without end! Human life and experience is all about free will. Free will is the ability and right of a human being to pursue his or her own desires of happiness, as long upon so doing, the happiness of another human is not affected in any way. To prove to us that there are very few who are called to be created as free willed human beings who are chosen to serve in the capacity of the ultimate, omnipotent human being (what we would refer to as God)... ... our Creators test us. Our Creators play mind games with us during the course of these tests. Can it not be considered that our imperfect brain is incapable of remembering anything beyond our mortal existence, when in fact, there are enormous amounts of recorded memories of human experience in our head, a mind game? But what is it exactly that I was instructed to do to test those who would eventually be close to me and part of this MWAW? I was to do to them WHAT OUR CREATORS DO TO US TO PROVE OUR HUMANITY! OUR CREATORS MAKE US THEIR ENEMIES! They placed us in a mortal situation in which we are enemies of all righteousness. .. in a world where it is almost impossible to unconditionally support the free will of others without having what they choose to do affect our own free will, or what we choose to do affect theirs. The greatest passage ever written to illustrate how our Creators made us their enemies to test us is this: For the natural man is an enemy to God, and has been from the fall of Adam, and will be, forever and ever, unless he yields to the enticings of the Holy Spirit, and putteth off the natural man and becometh a saint through the atonement of Christ the Lord, and becometh as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love, willing to submit to all things which the Lord seeth fit to inflict upon him, even as a child doth submit to his father. (Mosiah 3:19) Our Creators are responsible for the fall of Adam, or better, for the mortal state in which we currently find ourselves fallen from the higher experience of a perfect human society. They made the natural man their enemy to allow us to go through a probationary period that would prove how we deal with our own humanity. They took away our memories of all that we were taught by them, given us free reign and power over our own existence to treat others how we choose to treat them. I wrote above that it is almost impossible to unconditionally support the free will of others... If it were completely impossible, then all of us would have an excuse for acting contrary to our humanity and treating each other unrighteously. We would claim, Well, no one can do it! Therefore, were all justified! Even Jesus few disciples had a problem with many of the things he taught, proclaiming, And When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? But Jesus perceived their thoughts, and said unto them: With men this is impossible; but if they will forsake all things for my sake, with God whatsoever I speak is possible. Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore in the kingdom of God? And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye who have followed me and believed in me and obeyed the commandments of the Father in all things, in the resurrection when the Son of man shall sit in judgment of those who have rejected these things before the throne of the Father, then ye also shall sit in judgment, judging the twelve tribes of Israel, because unto them I shall send you to preach these things. And because we have preached these things unto them, our testimonies shall be given before the Father, that they might be judged according to those things which we preached unto them, and our testimonies against them shall shall stand before the Father, even that they were given the chance to obey His commandments. And our testimonies and our words shall judge them before the Father, because they did not believe in the that which we were sent to teach unto them. (Matthew 19:25-29, corrected translation. ) A person becomes a judge of another when that person, when placed in similar circumstance, acts differently than another. Becoming a judge does not mean that one of us has any more power or authority over another to judge anothers actions as being righteous or not. Being a judge means that one who was made an enemy of God like everyone else, chose to become a saint. Becoming a saint means that this enemy to God puts off the natural man and becomes as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love, and willing to submit to all things (tests included) which the Lord seeth fit to inflict upon him. Being tested is being inflicted by all things that the Lord seeth fit! I did not come up with these tests on my own. The infliction that I have caused on those natural men and women who have approached me in this work is what the Lord seeth fit. I was instructed to make enemies so that I would know who could be trusted to be my true friends. My true friends, no matter what was inflicted upon them by me in the course of acting under the guidance of those who oversee this work, would be proven by the way they act towards me and this work as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient, and full of love. They would pattern their actions towards me (their enemy) through the atonement of Christ. In other words, they would act towards me (who became their enemy to test them) as Christ so instructed us to act with proper humanity. This Code of Humanity governs the actions and experience of all human beings throughout the Universe and was described in the Hebrew record (the Bible) and in the Nephite record (the Book of Mormon). It is word for word in each book, verifying the great importance of its guidance, as it is the ONLY THING that any human being must do to live forever in peace and happiness in the kingdom of our Creators. It is known as the Gospel of Jesus, the Christ. It instructs us HOW TO TREAT OUR ENEMIES: Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them who despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may become the children of your Father who is in heaven, who is no respecter of persons; for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust—all being His beloved children. For if ye love only them who love you, what reward have ye of your Father in heaven? Do not even the publicans do the same? And ye know that they are wicked; yet your Father loveth them still. And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than the others who ye condemn as sinners? Do not even the publicans so salute only those who are their friends? Behold, those things which were of old time, which were under the law that ye have been taught by your leaders, in me are all fulfilled. And for this reason hath the Father sent me to you, that ye might repent and do the works that I have commanded you to do, and follow the example that I have given unto you, that ye might, therefore, be commanded to be perfect in the love that ye have one for another, even as your Father which is in heaven hath a perfect love for you. (Matthew 5:44-48, corrected translation. ) Those who passed the test became the judges of those who didnt. They proved to themselves, to me, and to those who oversee this work that they KNOW HOW TO TREAT THEIR ENEMIES; that they are WILLING to put of the natural man and become a saint through the atonement of Christ the Lord; they proved their ability and gained my trust to help me in the Fathers work. But more importantly, the proved that their free willed choice to be a part of this work was the right choice for them! I was instructed to make them my enemies in every way possible. I was instructed to denounce them in public; to cast them away from me and this work; mandating, as was presented in the allegoric representation of our Father saying to Lucifer: Depart! Or as Jesus said, Get thee behind me Satan! Yet, those who proved to be my true friends never denied me or this work. They never treated me contrary to the Royal Law that governs all of humanity. In each case, they became submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love, and willing to submit to whatever humiliation and test I was instructed to inflict upon them! They have JUDGED my enemies, who in most cases, were not mistreated, even close, to the way that I mistreated those who would become my true friends. NONE OF MY ENEMIES can claim that I treated them worse than I treated John Roh, Jay Benson, or Julie Taggart, (using them only for example because they were the first of all my true friends to be drawn to me and this work). NONE can proclaim that I treated anyone as unrighteously as I treated Julie Taggart. I condemned her in public and in private. I caused her homelessness and inflicted upon her emotional turmoil unlike anything she had ever experienced before. NOTHING kept her loyal to me and this work than her own personal desire and choice. Many others of my true friends, who were prepared by those who oversee this work to support this work in their own way, were tested and inflicted with things that they did not understand.. . until now. Well did one of one of those who proved himself my enemy proclaim, Christopher, youre your own worst enemy! :-) What this man didnt realize was that I became his enemy to test his humanity, not my own. How would one treat me, if I became his or her enemy? Would he or she treat me as an enemy should be treated by one who has put off the natural man [woman]... through the atonement of Christ? The ONLY WAY THEY WOULD EVER KNOW WHY I REJECTED THEM AND CAST THEM AWAY FROM ME AND THIS WORK was for me to make them my enemy and test their humanity. From Josephs own mouth, while instructing me how to test those who would come into my life as I proceeded with this work, he said: The true measure of our humanity is not how we treat our friends, but how we treat our enemies. For this purpose, all of humanity is tried and tested during the days of our probation in mortality. We become enemies of God. But those who learn who they are and learn to respect others and treat them as they would want to be treated, are those who shall be one with you, as you are with me, as we our with our Lord, and as he is with our Father. Joseph went on to explain some intricate details of his last mortality in which he dealt with those who thought they were his friends but later became his enemies. He quoted the Book of Mormon, rephrasing some of the last words attributed to Mormon concerning those who became the enemies of all righteousness : Behold, I am laboring with them continually; and when I speak the word of God with sharpness they tremble and anger against me; and when I use no sharpness they harden their hearts against it; wherefore, I fear lest the Spirit of the Lord hath ceased striving with them. For so exceedingly do they anger that it seemeth me that they have no fear of death; and they have lost their love, one towards another; and they thirst after blood and revenge continually. And now, my beloved son, notwithstanding their hardness, let us labor diligently; for if we should cease to labor, we should be brought under condemnation; for we have a labor to perform whilst in this tabernacle of clay, that we may conquer the enemy of all righteousness, and rest our souls in the kingdom of God. (Moroni 9:4-6) Joseph said: When you speak the truth in sharpness, your enemies will tremble with anger against you. When you use no sharpness, they will harden their hearts against the truth. Their anger shall turn to revenge towards you and this work. This shall be the sign that you shall be given that they are not to be trusted nor allowed close to you and this work. But in spite of what they do to you or say about you [notwithstanding their hardness], continue with the work as it is given to you. You shall find joy and support in those who do not tremble in anger against you; with those who rejoice in the sharpness of the truth; and who do not harden their hearts nor seek revenge against you. Anger and revenge is the enemy of all righteousness. These are demonstrations of human nature by those who cannot be trusted with the power of our Father, nor with the knowledge of truth. No one so entrusted would become angry or seek revenge upon another person. When one becomes angry for whatever reason, ones physical body indeed trembles. Their face becomes flush, their mind clouded with the desire to strike back and defend themselves. One cannot defend oneself, when threatened, unless one becomes angry. Those who do not tremble with anger, do not defend themselves. When we become angry, we become an enemy towards those who have caused us to become angry. I have intentionally portrayed anger towards the critics and enemies and friends of this work in PUBLIC to test their anger, when in reality, I am not angry at all. Thus the constant use of smiley faces. :-) :-) When has anyone, friend of foe witnessed me angry since I began this work? Jackie Stoll Howard, my ex wife (my enemy), if she were honest, would testify that I never demonstrated one bit of anger UNTIL I rejected this work in 1991, at the time my two oldest children were taken away from me. After that time, I did show some anger. I hit a couple of walls in anger, and even hit one man in the passion of competitive basketball. I was an enemy to myself during that time. I was an enemy to this work and wanted nothing to do with it. But since beginning the work again, none has seen me demonstrate anger towards another in any way. Some of my written words in PUBLIC appeared written in anger and defense, and now the world knows why! :-) My enemies and critics are hereby put on notice by our mutual Creators. One day they will have to justify in their own minds why they became angry with me and this work. Why they seek revenge upon me and this work? Why did they not just walk away and love me (who became their enemy) respecting my right to believe and act according to my free will and choice? For nothing I have ever done has forced my free will upon another. My enemies and critics will be judged by my friends. And I can assure the enemies and critics of this work that they will not be comfortable in the presence of my Lord and those angels who oversee this work. For my enemies and critics will know that they have rejected me and this work; that they were angered in their hearts towards me and this work; and that they sought revenge by condemning me and this work... a work which they shall one day know IS THE ONLY WORK OF OUR MUTUAL CREATORS in establishing the real truth upon this earth in the last days before they come to reveal the truth of it themselves. And when the enemies of this work come face to face with them, they will be just as apprehensive in meeting with them in public face to face as they are with meeting me. :-) THE TESTS ARE OVER. Those who have proven themselves as my true friends are in place. Now this work can be completed for the sake of all the world. And when it is complete, then I will have fulfilled that which I have been instructed to do. And I, too, will be able to proclaim, I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. Once the work is complete, I will no longer be available in this PUBLIC DISCUSSION GROUP. My friends, those who thou gavest me will be sanctified through thy truth: thy word is truth. The glory which thou gavest me I have given them. (Remember, the glory of God is intelligence, in other words: Light [a clear understanding. ..] and Truth [... of real truth].) These shall be the Moderators of this work... ... and they shall be one with me: my true friends, who could not become my enemy no matter what I inflicted upon them.
