I have been asked by my community if I am in favor of a Sams Club being built here in Wake Forest. This was my response: As a Holistic Health Coach: I see dead people everyday walking around suffering and sick. I see additions being added to our hospitals. I see pharmacies/drug stores (Walgreens, CVS, etc.) on every street corner. I see urgent cares popping up every where. We have special hospitals for our children and for cancer patients. WHY?? I can tell you...IT IS THE FOOD YOU ARE CHOOSING TO PUT INTO YOUR BODY EVERY SINGLE DAY. Processed foods, GMO foods, factory farmed meats, foods that are pumped with chemicals to make them smell good, taste good and to make you addicted to them...are whats causing the obesity, diabetes, autoimmune dis-eases, MS, arthritis, allergies, asthma, Alzheimers, heart dis-ease, Eczema, psoriasis, and cancer in our society today. It saddens me to see how disconnected we are from real food. The last thing we need is yet another store of any kind that provides us with more processed chemically man made food. Once I stopped believing and trusting our food industries, the FDA, pharmaceutical companies and our Govt and started educating myself, I was then able to heal myself and my children. Being a health coach I have been blessed with seeing transformations...food allergies to no food allergies, asthma to no asthma, lupus to no lupus, cancer to no cancer. I no longer believe what I read or what is told to me. I believe what I SEE works and what doesnt work. Sams Club, Costco, BJs, Walmart, etc. promote and sell poison. So much of their products are imported from countries that we have no idea of their regulations PLUS we have to spray extra toxic chemicals on the food before it can come into the US. WHY DO WE NEED MORE OF THIS? I think instead of voting on whether or not we want a Sams Club in WF, we should be coming together and figuring out how we can get rid of the ones we already have. Its all about supply and demand. You want simple, quick, easy...you will get it. You want healthy, organic and real food...you will get it. Your money speaks volumes. Choose wisely.
