I have been asked to comment on the resignation of black dentist Misee Harris and her allegations of racism against her employer. First of all, Ms. Harris should know that there are NO private Facebook accounts. Anything you post on social media is out there for anyone to see. If she is going to engage in activism, she should not be surprised to discover that some people will disagree with her analysis of events. We all should know that employers might see and react to our social media posts.It looks like her white employers bent over backwards to give her an opportunity to become a partner at their firm. Its unfortunate that she is not accusing them of racism. Racism can and does happen. Its not clear that the facts revealed support her accusations.
