I have been asked what I see in Nigeria that I believe in her so much and why I refused to talk dirty about her, here’s my reason: I came across a scripture several years ago that change me totally and opened my eyes too, it read: “Pray for peace in Jerusalem (Nigeria or any country you’re in). May all who love this city prosper. O Jerusalem (Nigeria or any country you’re in), may there be peace within your walls and prosperity in your palaces. For the sake of my family and friends, I will say, “May you have peace.” For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek what is best for you, O Jerusalem.” Psalms 122:6 (NLT with alterations) I realized if I must prosper where I am, in my country, the state where I live, in my job I must pray for it and not say negative things about them, I need not say so much about this, that scripture says it for itself. You need to stop complaining about your country and start praying for her, stop complaining about your job and start praying for it, therein lies your prosperity, your peace. You are where you are because of your mouth, its not the government’s fault but yours, in the same country that you’re complaining about, some are making it big, do they have more than one head? Speak what you want to see.
