I have been blessed in my life to get to do and get to see some truly amazing things. Today is one of the most special days in my life. I am in Normandy France. Our first visit today was the German Cemetery at La Cambe, then a short trip to St. Mere Eglise, then Utah Beach, then Omaha Beach and lastly, The American Cemetery at Normandy. We were at the American Cemetery at closing and got to see the US Flag taken down with a gun salute and bugle player playing Taps. It was a very emotional moment.
