I have been campaigning against the drug war for years. Since I smoke pot, legalizing pot has been a priority for me. Although I am not a heroin user, I agree with Howie that heroin should be legalized. I agree, legalizing heroin would take the black market profiteering out of it. Dr supervised heroin programs reduces the profit margins, while keeping the users under supervision. Past heroin epidemics were caused by the importation of heroin by various clandestined organization, including US government organizations. This current wave of heroin addictions is caused by the over prescription of opioid based pain killers. This means big pharma is at the root of this current wave of heroin users. Where is the accountability in this? Howie Hawkins is taking a courageous stance! Whether he loses votes or not from this painful truth!, it shows that he is not willing to lie to anyone to get votes. Howie Hawkins for NY Governor will tell it like it is. People need to hear this.
