I have been coming to Ibiza for the last 10 years or so, and my has it changed. When i first came down to the Island there were 5 clubs and a few beach clubs and 1 big hotel (Ibiza Grand )l that was just being built, and mostly everyone was European and spoke very little English, And Americans were nonexistent, Unless you were British.. Today there is almost a club, bar, beach club on every corner of Island. Not to mention the numerous big hotels that include Ushuia and the Hard Rock that opened this year thats truly one of the best hotel properties I have ever seen that I will mostly like stay next year. The music has changed a great deal as well. Yea sure you still have some the staple nights thats been going on for years like Cox, Coocon etc.. But this year in particular I have felt the massive crossover on the Island from music to the people (Americans everywhere) from the likes of the Kim K, Beiber or just parting next to Paris Hilton at Coocon and seeing Billboards of her . Which is ok to some, but must kill some of the purest of the Island. For me personally I alway have a blast coming here and catching up with friends, or just hitting some of the great Beaches and spots on the Island old or new.. This years places for me included Nagai best Japanese and Sir Rocco amazing Italian on the beach of the (Hard Rock) 2 must trys for anyone coming here.. Now time to get ready for dinner and catch a little bit of Carl before heading back home. #ibizanights
