I have been doing research today on the old cedar chest that I am going to bring back to its natural cedar. It was made sometime in the early 1900s to 1956 when the company that manufactured them went out of business. I am researching the model number and trying to trace it back to the year it was made. The cedar is red cedar from Tennessee I have found out so far. Now stripping the old ugly green paint off of it has become even more interesting to me.
