I have been following the Market Basket protests through friends at home. I am loving the strength and power of employees, suppliers and customers.Even with so much personally at stake people have still united to do what is right. Here, last night I had a conversation with a local city councilman who couldnt explain to me why he and a fellow councilman voted for something he says he is against and clearly is not what those he represents would approve of. Certainly not of the magnitude of Market Basket but important to many in his life. So disappointed and disgusted by the lack of strength by someone I had respected. All to fit in?
