I have been haunted by an image today.... It was an Image that crystallized my own confusion and despair... the feeling of overwhelm. A tiny smudge of life at the moment of its dismissal It was posted by the well intended and outraged to Facebook to mingle in the stream along with all the other blitherings and rants, the uplifts and shaming... Boobs, bums, groins drag queens, twerking, fighting, death,outrage, hope and unwavering cuteness. A fleeting moment of what? framed by wide yellow eyes and a tiny fragile boned body twitched in a rictus of pain and confusion.... A barbed hook twisted through its spine But on a darker note......
