I have been hit a second time for telling things that are less - TopicsExpress

I have been hit a second time for telling things that are less known about me. 11 more from Angela Thornhill. If you like this, I will be giving you a number for you to use too! :-)) 1. I got my first cat at the age of 5, she was a Siamese. Her name was Sophie. 2. We lived on a dead end street, which led to the school yard of KirkLAND School. (My family name is KirkMAN.) This caused much confusion amongst many friends. 3. I loved, and still love, animals of all kinds. In the early days out in Pierrefonds, there was a large pond right behind our house. I used to catch snakes and frogs and toads all the time. One evening that my parents were entertaining, I proudly brought in the largest frog I had found ever, and plopped it on the dinner table announcing my find. Two of the guests got up most abruptly and left.... I was not in trouble but I WAS asked to not do that again... 4. I have now been to all continents except Australia and Antarctica. 5. I had two pet grass snakes for a few years and would catch their food for them at *our* pond. 6. I started school a year younger than everyone else and skipped two years on my way up. This made me one of the youngest kids to enter and finish CEGEP. I was done that at the age that most others started. 7. My piano teacher (who was a friend of my fathers) dated (Princess) Christina of Holland for a few years and they came for dinner at our house regularly. We also went to many events at her apartment downtown. 8. Three summers ago, I beaded a mask while my daughter was away in Ecuador: it took over 19,500 beads. A friend exclaimed: A whole new definition of *worry beads*!. I liked that, thank you Glennis!! 9. As well as joining the archery team for Intra mural competitions, I learned to throw the javelin and competed in that too. I guess I like unusual sports as well as unusual pastimes. 10. My mother insisted on giving us the *proper extra-curricular education* when we were young. So I learned to play the soprano, alto and tenor recorders as well as the piano. I started ballet lessons and was skiing and skating by the age of 5. 11. I broke my left femur at the age of 6 months and was in a body cast for 4 months.
