I have been ice-bucket-challenged by my friend Rebecca. I am accepting, but am taking a bit of a different spin on the challenge. Im skipping the whole ice-bucket part because, frankly, I dont want to get wet! Instead of donating to ALSA (which Im sure is a worthy organization), I am donating to a cause that I am personally connected to. My friend, Bobbies son, Miles, battles juvenile diabetes every day and is in need of a service dog. I am donating $10 to Miles of Smiles to help Miles dog come home! I challenge each of you, my friends, family, colleagues and acquaintances to choose an organization about which you are passionate and donate to them this week.
