I have been in law enforcement for a total of 29+ years and have been able to work under several leaders. They have included some great and some less than great, through it all I have met and worked with several officers that know the job, have thier priorities in line and will do anything to help and support the agency they work for. Jim Szczesniak is one of those people. He lives the job, he loves that job, and from all my expectations he will continue to do that job. If the Office of Sheriff was a popularity race only, you would get the most popular but not the most qualified . Every business position, every working person, has moments that they won’t agree with the administration and their decisions. You have to work with the system adjust and proceed. There are several questions that are being left unanswered by the opponent in this race though he preaches transparency. I ask everyone to question Jim Szczesniak, he will answer, telling the truth and give you his position on any subject. In my world and this goes a very long way and should be a quality everyone looks for in their Sheriff. I live in Livingston County, my family lives in Livingston County and I want the most qualified Sheriff’s cadidate leading this department. So I, Jeffrey R. Becker, do endorse, James M.
