I have been nominated by Omotola Adebayo to share why I love Jesus and proclaim him as my personal Lord and Savior. In the first instance I have noted love is a give and take, I didnt give Jesus any love before he showed me his love by giving his life for me on the cross. Ever since I was introduced to him the first time not the church going stuff many of us do, I have seen changes in my life and things have been so easy with all my endeavor. Even though challenges comes my way, he is always there for me. I would like to share my experience recently to express the kind love Jesus has for me and many of us. I so much love a friend of a childhood and we share many things together, BUT somehow we couldnt continue our friendship as a result of what I termed betrayal or act of selfish interest. So painful and disturbing, when I realized that I cannot not let such act from a friend let me miss heaven, I made all effort to contact my friend and to ensure that as Christ said we are all sinners the good thing is to address our sinful ways. Every effort to re-unite with him prove aborted, while I was in my room full of anger and worries, I was asking the Lord why is this friend so moving far away despite all my effort to unite again. The Holy Spirit said and I quote Dayo... why are you full of anger and worries, what Jesus did for many out there, the same way Jesus is feeling, wanting all to come to him, BUT many times he come many time we rejected him. Have you done what Jesus did to you and many others? have you died for that your friend?, were you beaten because of him?, were you given a strong and sour wine to drink? Many and more question he asked me. I concluded JESUS your love for me and everyone is special. I love Jesus and I proclaim him as my Lord and personal savior because he is a friend that understand that am not perfect and teaching me daily on how to be perfect through the word of God. Not all friend can stand with you in the time of troubles, he did and fought many battle for me, many of it in my absence. What a friend we have is Jesus .....singing.... A wonderful God, counselor, savior, healer, provider, comforter, deliverer, mighty, our salvation, the might man of battle, my light.
