I have been nominated for the Award for Visionary Leadership in Behavioral Health by an Elected Official by the National Council for Behavioral Health. Thank you to the Philadelphia Alliance for my nomination. As a result, I have been selected as a runner-up, out of 300 nominations. This is truly humbling as this is a national honor. As both an elected official and chairman of the House Human Services Committee, I consider it a great privilege to be able to be in a position to help people, and I consider that to be the best award.
