I have been offered a chance to carry these in my store... currently sold in the states only, we would be one of the very first (possibly the first lol) to carry them in Canada. It is essentially a safety device. A silicone strap that your child wears on their arm. You use the free app on your smart phone to set limits, i.e. for a toddler it might be 5 meters away, but for a 7 year old it might be 20 meters away. Your phone alerts you if a child is further than their limit. It also has a panic button they can press if they are afraid or lost, and a GPS tracker will show you instantly where they are. If the child is being taken care of by a nanny or babyt sitter, you can use your phone to check their location at all times. Fnially it has a water sensor so if it goes under water for 5 seconds you will be alarmed. You can use one app to manage and track multiple children. I see it as useful at things like the fall fairs or in crowded events where it takes a second to lose sight of little ones and your heart stops until you know they are close by. It is likely to cost around $50 in Canada.... and I am really interested to know if you think it is something you would purchase? I am pretty sure I would for my active 3 year old. mybuddytag/choose-buddy-tag/
