I have been privileged to be at Powerhouse this weekend. Last night was wonderful as you saw the Spirit of The Lord draw young men and women to Him. As I was praying with several teens in the altar, I flashed back to praying with them as children in youth camp. Many of them I met at 5-6 years old. It was exciting to see the same desire to chase after God with full surrender and total abandon. Last night, I was able to see who God had created them to be. Many are ending high school and preparing for the rest of their lives. God has ordained the following formula to prepare our children for the BIG things He has planned for them: CHRISTIAN PARENTS + EFFECTIVE CHILDRENS MINISTRY + EFFECTIVE YOUTH MINISTRY + ANOINTING + MENTORSHIP = EQUIPPED MEN AND WOMEN Ephesians 3:20: now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine according to His Power at work within us. As childrens ministers, we have a responsibility to equip and prepare the next generation. Lets make the most of the time they are with us. We must then pass the baton to youth ministry to complete the process. Lets partner together to Prepare, Protect, and Position our children for the BIG things God has planned for them.
