I have been seeing this a lot lately and a lot of DJs disagreeing. I believe as a DJ you should be able to promote and you should. I understand thats not our Job as a DJ but why not go the extra mile to make it that much better for yourself and the venue/party. We work in an industry where communication and connections are prime, and as a DJ there is no other way to show your ambition and hunger then to share it with others. Yes skill plays a huge part as well, no one wants a wack DJ, but some people need to get off the high horse and start showing some numbers cause honestly in the long run its not about your sick skill, most people dont even pay attention to all that. its about how much you can bring to the table and to the venue/party. Thats just how I feel. What do you all think ?
