I have been slacking off on the posts as I have been working my booty off at work this week. Sorry! I am so thankful for this system. Not only do I have the energy to survive these crazy work days without coming home to my family an evil demon of exhaustion but I suddenly have so much willpower. I knew my biggest test was going to be cheeseburgers (real ones not mcds crap). I LOVE me some melted cheese on a burger! Went to lunch at Karl Strauss and watched two coworkers eat giant cheeseburgers while I ate a seared ahi salad. You know what? That salad tasted amazing and the smell/sight of the cheeseburgers didnt even tempt me. Did have one slice of pumpkin bread but a board member brought it to me as a going away gift so I didnt want to be rude. Tried adding a very ripe, peeled persimmon to my morning vanilla shake with a bit of pumpkin pie spice. I HIGHLY recommend it. Was so thick and creamy and deliciously fall :) Seriously try it! Also now in love with the unsweetened passion tea at Starbucks. As my sister could tell you I didnt drink unsweetened ANYTHING before. Now I love it. Who woulda thought? If I can change like this anyone can!
