I have been speaking and writing on our Military presence in Afghanistan for over eleven years. I said we will have tens of thousands of U.S. Military Personnel in Afghanistan after 2014. Today the Pentagon said we the United States will have a sizeable Military presence in Afghanistan after 2014. How can our Military Leaders and our Civilian Leaders be so blind to the fact that having U. S. Troops on the ground in Afghanistan is a BAD Idea with NO Positive outcome? If we would have pulled all of our troops out of Afghanistan ten years ago, today or ten years from today, Afghanistan will remain a fourth world nation run by War Lords, the Taliban and corrupt Politicians. NOTHING WILL CHANGE!!! We will add more names to the Memorial Walls and more names to the rosters of VA Hospitals, more names of the widow and widower, more names to those growing up without a mother or father, son or daughter who were killed or injured in Afghanistan. How can we be so fricken stupid?
