I have been spending the day helping my dad build a retaining wall. The purpose of the wall is to keep the dirt bank from eroding over top of the drain pipe that carries water from off the hill. Without the wall, you got a REAL MESS! Did you ever consider the worth of a wall? They can be a real ally and defense. Some folks want to tear down walls, viewing them as liabilities. But most of them were built for a purpose and if they come down, well... IT BECOMES ONE AWFUL MESS!
