I have been thinking about Jacobs youngest son Joseph this week and he was a type like Jesus in the Old Testament as the Bible never says or hints that he ever sinned but of course we know he did for the word says all have sinned but Joseph never complained after his brothers sold him as a slave. As the youngest of Jacob he was very close to his father and I am sure missed him very much, he never said one word as his masters wife lied on him about trying to be intimate with her. He just had faith in God and did like Jesus and treated them everyone with respect. This man was a good example of the way Christians should act when they are mistreated and let God fight their battles. After going through all the bad things like being put in prison he found favor with the warden and was put in charge. Pharaoh had that dream about what was going to happen to Egypt concerning the 7 year famine and Joseph interpreted that dream and told him to put up food for his people during the time of plenty so Egypt would have plenty when the famine came. Joseph was made second to the King of Egypt because God took the worst in his life and rewarded him greatly.. We can be the same if we let God lead our lives and trust him.
