I have been trying to get a look at a Swainsons Warbler who is still vocalizing in the Pee Dee NWR. My routine is to stake out a bathing spot and wait to see who comes in. Fully half the visits are by Indigo Buntings. Todays surprise visitors were a Yellow-breasted Chat and a Prothonotary Warbler, two species that dont usually come in for a bath. The Swainsons Warbler made a brief appearance around 5 pm.
