I have been up and at it since dawn. Did three days worth of dishes ( dont judge...we have been putting in a lot of hours), washed two loads of clothes, and gathering up what Billy needs before he hits the road. I am basically working off nervous energy. He will be burning up the roadways again this week. Another three days in the Lou, working. The snow is fixing to move into the area, and some sleet. I get anxious, and worry a lot. Three inches isnt a lot of precip, but it becomes a nightmare when having to travel. Add to that 12 hours of stake out time, in below freezing temps...it is going to be brutal. I am gathering up coveralls, and hunting coats, and blankets, and batteries...trying to make sure he is prepared. Sometimes I think I am more of a helicopter mom than a wife. Anxiety makes me over prepare..but I would rather he have more than enough than be stuck in the cold woefully unprepared.
