I have been using Comcast for internet for a few years, and have been generally satisfied. When I upgraded my modem, the Comcast representative talked me into doing a TV double play. I have grown to HATE this company!!! At every step along the way, they have lied to me, made things exceedingly difficult, and charged me much more than promised. I finally got the DVR and installed the TV today. I just got an email listing the new charges for my order. INCLUDING A $165 INSTALLATION CHARGE! 1) Nobody ever mentioned an installation charge. 2) They charged me $15 for a self installation package. 3) I installed it myself. This is unethical, even fraudulent. I called to get it take off, and there is nobody there. I am, needless to say, very angry. This has taken an inordinate amount of time and energy, and I feel like they are trying to cheat me every step along the way. Thank God my city gave them a monopoly on cable here.
