I have been watching a lot of documentaries about Black history recently and today I learned about the courage of Haiti! A few facts for yall: * More then 777,000 slaves were bought by France to Haiti to work on sugar plantations *Haiti had the biggest economy and was producing half of the world population of sugar which helped the French economy in the 17 century. *Haiti is the only country in the west where former slaves over threw their colonial rule (France). The reason the country is so poor because of embargoes, sanctions and economic failure by the former colonial interests France, Spain and America. Here is the documentary: youtu.be/6RlG4b3LV9o
