I have been watching the news and listening to all of the rhetoric - TopicsExpress

I have been watching the news and listening to all of the rhetoric about Obamacare. I have to admit that I oppose the idea of a federal government run healthcare system. I was against Obamacare and still am because I believe as many other conservatives do that the government has no business in the insurance field not to mention the extreme intrusion into people’s lives. I have a feeling that the GOP shoulders a lot of blame for the ACA. The Republicans in Congress knew there was a problem with the health care system in this country. They sat on their fat behinds and did nothing. They proposed no solutions, no legislation in any form to rectify the inequities in the system. When the left threatened and eventually failed with Hillarycare the GOP yawned and went back to business as usual. Enter Barack Obama and the ACA and the GOP was taken to school with backroom deals, shady politics, and bribes. The Senate and Harry Reid rammed it down their throats and all of a sudden the Republicans were coming up with alternate plans one after another. They tried to close the barn door after the horse had gone. If they had only stood up and done what needed to be done, when it needed to be done, we probably could have avoided this current debacle and gained supporters while doing it. When you leave important decisions to morons because you are too lazy to make them yourself, who is to blame for the resulting catastrophe? That ladies and gentlemen is why we need new blood in Washington. The current wave of new conservatives have the energy and intelligence to remake the GOP into a strong viable force for the future. I think people like Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Mia Love, Ben Carson, Rand Paul, and North Carolina’s own Greg Brannon are the future of the GOP and its saving grace.
