I have been working all day, and only able to check facebook from my phone. I saw a very disturbing post (I think it is now deleted) about how sad this group is etc. I saw the thread was pretty long, and was not able to read it at all. I wanted to say- the facts are that either we have a child with ITP, we have ITP- or we have something similiar to ITP. All experiencing the unknown, all frightened at some point, all happy at other points. This group was a life saver to me, and I know it has been a life saver to others. I strongly feel this group is so wonderful because noone is negative. I see only positive comments, in the most difficult situations. Somehow, as a group we have all come together with positive energy. I do know that there has been issues of people joining that have shared some very negative energy, and it sort of changes the entire group functions. I think that people have a right to let them know that, we dont need the negative energy, and maybe this is not the group that they need. We keep things positive, and supportive. Youre always going to come across that bad apple, but I think we do a very good job of not letting one bad apple ruin this groups integrity. I am so thankful for this group, and for the friendships that have developed from it :-)
