I have been writing poetry for 21 years. And recently despised to invest my work - old and new into another book, but this time the book will be mine. And so based on the powerful pieces I have written this year I felt to truly express the mentality of that moment. And add the visual to the verbal with artistic and creative powerful shots. Heart broken. Suicidal thoughts. Depression. Love. Lust. Madness. Stress. Domestic violence. Interracial relationships and the strength and love behind it. Being judged. Envy. Feeling lost. Loss. And the list goes on. I shall be working with the talented Ben Mason, Karlton Chambers and Marika Hall on this project. With direction for each shot from myself. Because to truly capture the sane madness from each poem only the poet can guide this. I look forward to the 16th August photo shoot.
