I have bought a new car today. As a car buyer, I always prefer to inspect the car by an experienced auto mechanic and a CARFAX report more than anything. In last few days in my searching of cars, I realized, Car Dealer and seller dont want to provide CARFAX report to avoid higher cost and hide many negative history of the car which won’t be seen on other vehicle report agency. But my suggestions would be, Dont run the risk of buying used cars with costly hidden problems. Accident and title history is most accurate in CARFAX. Before buying my recent car, I have opened an account with CARFAX which will allow me to get report up to 5 cars. I was lucky to get that account to be used only twice (I didn’t have to see many cars). There are 3 more reports left that I can get using my account. Usually it costs $39.99+TAX for one report through CARFAX. But I can get you the same detail report for only $15.
