I have called the City of Jacksonville for months, asking that the vacant lot that is between our house and a neighbors be mowed. The property is actually two lots although it appears to be one parcel. Code Enforcement came to the property, cited one side of the lot one week and then cited the other side a week later. As a result, the contractors only cut one side yesterday. What this means is by the time they cut the other side, the first side will have grown again. This lot has been a nuisance since I arrived two years ago so they are very familiar with my requests. Who does this?! Laura Riggs, whats that tagline again??
