I have certainly known what it was to have a friend in Jesus over the past few months. There were times when things with Daddy were iffy. He was ready to meet the Lord but didnt want to leave Mother and the rest of us. He and I talked often about how Gods grace sustained us every moment. The Lord certainly has been my friend during these months also. When I worried, He comforted me. There were times when I prayed repeatedly for Him to watch over Daddy and he gave me a peace that is unspeakable and the feeling that everything was in His hands. Bobby and I were on our way home when Mother called me and attempted to explain what happened but my phone kept breaking up so I didnt know for sure. I immediately panicked because I wasnt close enough to help but my Heavenly Father gave me that same feeling. I thought at first Daddy was okay and I would be home in a few minutes to see that he was. Everything was okay but not the okay I thought it was. God was in control. Sleep has eluded me tonight, but God is still my friend and I rejoice that Daddy is now in His presence.
