I have come to bed early, being exhausted and found the bed unmade, hubby socks scrunched up in the bed, his scent on my pillow. There are a pile of clothes on the large medicine cabinet, washing up in the bowl and Hessian fragments all over the living room floor (which is actually my hubby telling me he loves me). Now, I struggle with mess, cleanliness and general upheaval, its a huge OCD of mine but as I contemplate these issues I wondered what it would be like if hubby wasnt here, didnt make the mess or create the unique smells! So I subdue the mounting anxiety within to manageable levels by breathing deeply and stilling my manic thoughts. I quote a great man (Blackadder), my life would like a broken pencil........pointless!
