I have created this group Justice for Bullies with high hopes of spreading PAW-sitive awareness to the Bully Group of Dogs who often face BSL. The Bully Breed category includes dogs such as the American Bully, American Pit bull Terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Boxer, and Bulldog. BSL otherwise known as Breed Specific Legislation is the restriction and or ban placed on certain breeds (usually the Bully Breed) that denies Bully Breed Guardians the right to possess these dogs, or it restricts their movements and conditions within the public (demanding the use of a muzzle which adds to the tough mean stigma they already face, short leashes, no off leash activity etc.). If BSL was to occur on a large scale it could eventually lead to the extinction of a species that is love by many. I for one will not let this happen, and will fight BSL with every breath I have in my body. My objective is to start a movement in Alberta and simply get a name of one person (the more the better) in every City/Town/Hamlet of Alberta who will stand up and fight for the rights of the Bully Breed and support them. I ask that you post your picture and your name and where you reside and please say that you support the breed and want BSL to end! If you have a bully breed in your care post a picture of you with your dog. The power of numbers is an incredible thing, and to have an army of people behind me who support this breed would be a movement unlike anything I have ever seen. If I am successful in this I would like to spread this movement throughout Canada and present this to Government officials who have allowed BSL to take place in Canada. Please stand with me and support me in my fight towards obtaining JUSTICE FOR BULLIES. Together we stand, to watch BSL fall! Thank you for your support.
