I have decided to close my Ana craft room and convert it to a home - TopicsExpress

I have decided to close my Ana craft room and convert it to a home showroom. Although I was sad about the move. The creativity never ends. The space is just as beautiful and I do hope it is still enjoyed. So like Tobago I am marrying Hobby and Home. At this time I am trying to make the most of the present spaces I have until I could consolidate into one fabulous Trinidad location for Home and Hobby. A craft room is still very much a part of that dream but in the meantime the creativity will not stop. It has been a difficult few months and for the few years I have been a business owner the journey continues to challenge me, I am not there yet and I guess that is what keeps me going. I am reevaluating what I want not only for my business but what I want for myself. I think somewhere I lost focus on me. I want a piece of mind and to live a healthier life. I want to enjoy watching my son grew up and travel. I want to spend more time creating and volunteering. I know I have much more to offer as a mentor as I truly believe I can inspire others. I am grateful for the good people I have met and the days I feel like giving up I think about the people who believe in my dreams and continue to offer advice and support. Just the other day I was thinking about Ras he was one of my first customers for my Arouca store and he still always checks on us. We have gotten mangoes and he always have a new home made wine for me to try. One day he showed me his daily exercise routine and although he is in his sixties he could still touch his toes better than me. It might seem like trivial stories but this is what makes a store more than just a business but a family; cherished memories and experiences. Where there is a will there is a way. I am forever a dreamer and I was born to live...
