I have decided to help this puppy who needs emergency treatment. She isnt in this country but the lady helping her is genuine and is looking after her with her partner. She is not a rescue centre but takes in and cares for ill and injured animals. The pup is in Romania, where the situation of dogs on the street is heart-breaking. Every day this lady goes out with a sack of food and sprinkles in for the stray dogs in her area. This pup was found in the woods, alone and shaking. She is covered in fleas and other parasites and has such a huge worm burden it is quite possible she wont make it. She is with the vet, on a drip, and having to start to learn to eat tiny amounts as she was starving when found and her stomach will not cope with a meal. Vet treatment is very cheap in Romania in comparison to what we pay here so the 50 Euros ( £40) I am sending her will cover a lot of the vet fees. Fingers crossed she will be ok.
