I have done it! I have watched the entire 9th Season (or 1st Season) of Dr. Who and have come to the following conclusion that I....... DO NOT LIKE IT! I am speaking for myself because I dont know how far or if Matt even got passed the first episode. But now, I will break down what I disliked about it, in a very polite manner (or as polite as I can be). 1) I felt the episodes ran too long. I found myself staring at a watch a lot because I really felt they could have wrapped up whatever was happening about 20 minutes less than what the running time was. 2) Although they explained what the TARDIS was, the whole sonic screwdriver thing was never really explained and was just there. I have heard many fans say that it was called a sonic screwdriver, but it was never explained what it actually does. 3) As a suppose sci-fi series, I thought it was more a sigh-fi drama. Yes, there is time travel, yes there are aliens, but really the whole focal point is this girl with 3 guys pining over her in some way, shape, or form. Seriously, between Mickey, The Doctor, and Captain whatever all trying to get her attention. 4) I dont see the fear in Daleks. Period. I just thought it was ridiculous. 5) This is the last thing. I have talked with Whovians about how Im not getting into the show, but am stilling working my way through this season, and so far the majority of them have said something along the lines of Well, you just need to get through this and then watch the next season with David Tennant. No...No I dont. If it doesnt get my attention in the first season, Im not going to sit through the another one thinking, Oh well, this could be much better. Overall, with all do respect, this is just not my kind of show. You guys who are die hards are probably reading this and ready to start smashing the keyboard with hate, but I gave this series a shot and just dont see the appeal. That is all. --Justin
