I have fallen head over heels in love!! I know exactly what I - TopicsExpress

I have fallen head over heels in love!! I know exactly what I want to be when I grow up!!!! JUST LIKE THIS INCREDIBLE WOMAN!!!!!!! In this video she is 93. She is now 96 years old and STILL teaches yoga in NYC. In this video (40 second mark) she is doing the peacock pose. That move is hard for me and STRENGTH is my best physical fitness attribute. The peacock pose people!!! At 96 years old!!! At 84 (YES- 84!) she decided she wanted to take up ballroom dancing so she also does that and COMPETES! God, how I love this woman!!! She has won over 300 first place ribbons in Fred Astaire National and International competitions. She doesnt eat meat. I LOVE her even more for that. Her words: I believe Mother Nature provides me with all the fruits and vegetables to eat correctly. I don’t believe in killing anything and felt this way at a very young age. Amen sister. If only I had come to that revelation at a much YOUNGER age. Here are a few other pearls of wisdom from this angel on Earth: Eat slowly with small portions. If possible, eat more fruits and vegetables. Think positive! Don’t let negative thoughts in your mind. Try to have only small doses of the media. Don’t look for negative attitudes and don’t always think only your answer is the right one. Wow I talk about this in my detox groups!!! She is spot on, again! Meditate on what you really want to do and put it into practice. Don’t be submerged with tons of thoughts you never do. When you wake up in the morning, start the day and know its going to be a good one. Don’t get involved with anything negative. Don’t take too many pills. Laugh at life. Okay this lady is proof I need to meditate. She is also a world peace activist and has joined the Dalai Lama at peace events. She is incredible. I aspire to to shed light and love worldwide like this!! From an article on her...Tao is a living advertisement for how to tap into our human potential. She is unique in her ability to overcome the effects of aging and to control her body and mind in harmony with Yoga’s principles. Tao’s philosophy is “There is nothing we cannot do if we harness the power within us.” She also shares in various interviews that she does not procrastinate and that if there is something she wants to do she does it. She stays positive and begins and ends each day with positive thoughts. Tao has been a vegetarian all her life, eats a very simple diet and credits her years of yoga practice at keeping her strong and healthy. At a youthful 95, prepare to be enchanted if you ever get the opportunity to catch up with Tao. I must meet this woman. If anyone knows her I would like to be connected to her and interview her for the magazine. Shes stolen my heart and forget all the bikini models that one might put on a goal board. She sums up everything I want to be. SHE is my entire goal board. youtu.be/1n1GtOaL7XU
