I have found that there is virtue on both sides of the war-anti war issue. There are many folks who sincerely believe that we can get along without wars. Call me a cynic but I believe as long as human nature being what it is, as long as we have religious fanaticism, hate, greed and lust for power, there will always be wars. And, as long as war exists, youre gonna need soldiers to fight them. So you recruit them, and yes, you indoctrinate them into believing in love of country, in the value of unselfishness, of unit integrity, in learning to sacrifice for a greater cause than your own self interest. For two hundred and fifty years that has been the tradition of the U.S. military. We now have a Commander in Chief who is working hard to transform it into a designer military; socially and politically correct, devoid of religion...(no place for God except in foxholes), where a Muslim slaughter down on a base in Texas is ignored, and where the war on terror has been downgraded and called contingency operations...and made things worse, and left us less safe. Liberals love to laugh at us military stooges; we of the cropped hair, shiny shoes and pretty ribbons. Well, Ill always believe that old Jack was right in what he said about those cocktail party liberals that enjoy their freedom to deride us..given that freedom by us who stood the wall for 20 or 30 years...people who wrote the biggest check of their life so that Obama and his minions could laugh at us: https://youtube/watch?v=5j2F4VcBmeo
