I have given much thought about posting this status. In some ways I am proud of my accomplishments, but also embarrassed that I ever had to go through any of it. Today marks ONE YEAR since my weight loss and life-style change journey. It has not been very easy (contrary to what some may think or assume). I had to adjust my diet drastically. I have not had any bread for 1 year and 2 weeks! Nothing carbonated for that same amount of time. I was addicted to potato chips.... again none for all of this time. No cakes, cookies, pies, or anything in the sweets department.. I do eat an occasional pudding cup or mint. I walk when I can and joined Pro Care (gym) two months ago. I am not a regular participant in the gym because of things that came up over the last month (grandmother died, moving, injury, etc...), but I am getting back into a routine. My total weight loss has been 97 pounds. I have been fortunate not to have the cosmetic side effects from losing so much weight! My goals now are to maintain my current weight and to tone up as well as get control of some other personal issues I am going through........ I want to thank those who supported me in one way or another through this past year: Scott Vaughn, Marah Vaughn, Mary Ramper, my dad, Mary Lou Horton, Kim Barroner, and Dawn Blair....
