I have got a few things on my mind today. You may know that Jesus Christ is the one who can control the winds when He spoke to them so when He gave a sermon outside you better believe the weather was perfect for the occassion. Where am I going with this you ask? Well let me tell you. I get so tired of hearing some of these preachers complaining about how they need money to keep their ministries going. You know, to pay for the electric bills or to keep the place cool or warm for members yada yada yada which is true. The part that gets me is when the focus of the days sermon tries to get you to feel like we members arent giving enough to meet the needs of that particular church. I am saying that when I am coming to church to be fed something that is good and edifying the last thing I want to hear is how broke the church is. Revelations 12:11 tells me that I am an overcomer of this world and the evils in it through the blood of the Lamb Jesus Christ and by the word of my testimony of Gods goodness, correction, deliverance, healing, and forgiveness so please stop feeding me some nonsense that leads me to think your faith isnt strong enough to have the bills paid. It doesnt mix well for me if you are a pastor of a small church of the minister of a grand super mega church. Jesus Christ never had to ask for the money for the speaker system or lights mainly because He is the Son of God. When Jesus Christ gave a sermon the weather was always right and the five thousand who attended could hear him perfectly....LOL. As a matter of fact if you got hungery during the event Jesus didnt ask you for money to purchase food He took what was available and made enough for everyone with leftovers to boot. Sushi was on the menu and you liked it! My whole point is please feed me the word about the Blood of the Lamb and some testimonies so that I can overcome the struggles of what I am dealing with in my own personal life to keep the hope I have in the Son of God alive and kickin and THEN I wont have a problem helping to meet the needs of that ministry. Truthfully your faith is on display when you appear needy and have to kind of force the issue of money for the bills and really doesnt inspire me or build my confidence in you as a pastor if you arent displaying the type of faith in God that you are pushing me to receive and operate in at all. JUST SAYIN
