I have had a few people ask about me setting up a donation fund at arvest bank in Jensyns name. I talked to the bank about doing that and it would allow anyone with an arvest bank which is in a few diffent states to put money directly into her name in her account. Gofundme does take a percentage of donations and arvest does not, some people are uncomfortable using gofundme foe donations and prefer a bank. If thats something that enough people are interested in we will def set it up. Here is what donations are being used for and we are keeping reciepts in case we need them ♡ 1. Gas money to go to and from Centerton Arkansas to Little Rock Arkansas which is about 8 hours round trip depending on traffic, weather, etc. 2. Hotel costs, some nights we can stay at the hospital if there are enough beds and same with RMH 3. Food, and by food i mean sandwhiches healthy food for breastfeeding, no dine ins 4.Child care if and when needed, our 3 kids are not allowed in the hospital which really puts us in a bind esp when Mark goes back to work bc it will be just me 5. Breastfeeding supplies 6. Medical care for Jensyn until we get insurance 7. Mark is on unpaid LOA some money may be used on either rent or utilites to keep our house. 8. Even after Jensyn is released she will need a lot of therapy, a lot of doctor appointments, she may need to go to a special school, obviously a lot of this depends on if her brain bleed progresses as that can cause all kinds of life long problems such as cerebral palsy *I know there are a lot of people who have jad preterm infants and their children ended up fine which is great i love success stories! But just bc one kid was born early most are born at 32 weeks that i have talked to is in no way an indicator that Jensyn will be the same. Of course we are always remaining positive but im mentioning this for donation purposes of continued medical care, she was 3 months and 1 week too early. As her dr said shes so premature that her liver doesnt even work right now its just an organ taking up space. Micropreemis face so so so many severe complications, developmental delays, mental retardation, cerebral palsy, NEC, Brain bleeds, chronic lung problems and so forth. We pray she will not have life long problems but 2/3 of babies born at her age have some form of severe disability. Her medical expenses will last forever, gas, time off work etc will always be an issue :/ Please share this so people who have donated can see what their hard earned money is being used for.
