I have had so many questions on Lutro0 Teleios Sleeving I have - TopicsExpress

I have had so many questions on Lutro0 Teleios Sleeving I have decided to write a small FAQ. 1. How many colors will TS have? TS will have 11 colors to start with: Black, Light Gray, Dark Gray, Aqua Blue, Blue, Navy Blue, Yellow, White, Green, Red, and Dark Red. 2. Will the colors be matte & why did you choose the colors you did? No, TS will have deep rich colors that have taken tons of trial and error to get perfect. The color schemes are taken from the hardware on the market so that your sleeve will match in your system perfectly. Some of the direct inspiration for the colors were colors that we see every day in our builds. The reason for this is when we sleeve we are trying to match our hardware and then add an accent to not have the sleeve take over a system but to allow it to flow naturally within a system. I have done many hours of research when it comes to color theory and what colors will complement the already existing colors we as computer builders and designers have at our disposal. Color design has been a passion of mine that can be seen throughout all of my previous work and it shows in the picking of the colors of TS. This will also be a continuing process as LC continues to bring out more and more colors in the TS weave. So be expecting many more colors as time goes by as we will keep ontop of the trending colors of hardware designers and also adding some new colors for people to make and mod their very own color schemes. 3. What sizes will TS come in? TS will come in 4mm and 8mm sizes. Through trial and error and seeing the effect that larger and smaller diameters have on the final look of sleeved cables we wanted to provide a size that would produce a full looking sleeved connector as well as provide a Sata size that will hug the normal size of Sata Data Cables while providing a dense coverage and ease of sleeving. The 4mm size will slide onto a cable easily and gently hug the wire with less stretching while not getting stuck on the sharp ends of the pins. This is due to the dense weave and design of TS. The 4mm size will also expand over fan and most usb cabling while keeping its density so the need of a bunch of extra sizes is not needed. The 8mm size of TS allows for expansion that will just make it over the ends of most Sata Data Cables and will close to hug onto the cable portion of the Sata Cable making it look factory and be able to follow the bends of the cable allowing you more options for tighter turns. We also have plans of a larger size for tubing sleeving should there be a want for it. 4. Can you use TS with Heatshrink and Heatshrinkless methods? Yes, TS was specifically designed to be the most universal sleeve while also being the easiest to implement both methods. You do not need a special HS to use the Shrink method as the weave and diameter allow for most HS under 1/4th and 3:1 if you use a 18awg wire with a thin diameter. Also because of the weave of TS you can use a 16awg wire with both a larger or thin diameter when using the HSless method as it will contour itself to the wire with little stretching and will melt and taper easily with little heat. Again this is all due to the properties of the weave used to make TS. Bottom line is that TS is made for the easiest sleeving possible, with rich colors and a new design to make your sleeving job the best it can. We spend tons of money on sleeving tools, and supplies. So why not get the sleeve that will make your job a fun and productive one.
