I have handed in the manuscript for my new book “The Hard Way: How to Win in a Culture of Entitlement.” I and my publisher, Zondervan, are excited about the material, and the answers it provides to the disease of entitlement we’re caught in. Just to give you a behind-the-scenes look at the process, I just received a detailed edit from my editor, with her comments, questions and suggestions to improve the book’s style and readability. I now will respond to all her thoughts (and it will take a long time!). Then, we’ll take another pass at it at a “polishing” level. During this time, I will be engaged in the strategic marketing of helping get the word out about the book ahead of time. Finally, it will hit the bookshelves, physical and digital, around September 1, 2015. A book is a long but fulfilling process. So when are you going to start writing yours?
