I have high standards for myself. If it were up to me, I certainly wouldnt have started my business when I did, but had I NOT, I wouldnt be where I am now artistically (so, THANK YOU Eric). Ive improved so much over the 8 sessions Ive done (EIGHT?! crazy). One of my goals is to be able to do AFFORDABLE workshops. Or perhaps do expensive workshops like everyone else does, but open up like 5 free seats. Regardless of how I do it, I want to be able to feel like I have become proficient at my craft. While Im getting better and better, Im still not there yet. So the mini-goal (the goal I need to reach in order to reach the ULTIMATE goal) is to get accepted into CMpro with Clickin Moms. Im not even ready to apply for THAT yet -- not until I can look at their application process and feel like I 100% understand everything on it. I feel so excited though, because I think once I am able to CONFIDENTLY pursue THAT goal, Ill be ready to open up shop for workshops, which will help me pursue the other goal I have with this photography gig, which is to feed my TRAVEL bug! This is a long status, and Im sorry -- but I just feel like I am on the right path. Ive been reading in my devotionals from good ol Pastor Rick Warren to have goals and to write them down. Well, I dont have my forever journal yet (I think I need to shop for me one this weekend), so FB will have to do. If I dont have articulated goals to pray about then things will just be chaotic in my life and Ive honestly never had real goals in life until now, its always just been kind of general, which is another cue that Im where God wants me. Anyway. I just wanted to share this with you guys. I cant wait to schedule some more sessions with you guys!!!
