I have just been into the city centre. As I came out of the mall I could hear a small group of people shouting no,no soda stream. When I looked closer they all had blood on their hands. It was a pro Gaza demonstration. There were more police than protestors! Now the only thing that irritates me more than terrorists is people who scream for a cause without taking all the facts into account. I think that there are groups of people on both sides who do this. However, in this case, history will show that Israel pulled out of Gaza completely years ago - even leaving greenhouses and infrastructure behind. Instead of embracing peace, Hamas came to power and the rockets started. Instead of spending money on improving the strip, it was spent on rockets and terror. Do you really think that Israel gets anything out of the blockade? It costs a fortune and does nothing for their global reputation. It is for defence ! It is to protect her citizens like any country would do. I think we should put all the nutters, from both sides, into a rocket and blast them into outer space. Anyway, what really made me angry was the boycott of Soda Stream - as they are made in a factory in the West Bank. I grew up in Zimbabwe. If you didnt have a soda stream you drank water most the time! As I walked passed the demonstration the woman handed me a flyer. I said No thanks I am in a rush to go get a refill for my soda stream. I thought that I was bloody hysterical but then I considered running for fear of her blowing us all up. FREE FREE SODA STREAM !!!!!!!!!!!!
