I have just been reading through all your posts to us after our precious little Cecil died. I couldnt bring myself to read them previously as each time I would end up sitting here crying. I am crying now, but I also feel so humble from all your special messages. The heartache of losing our precious babies is something all wildlife carers experience, not just Terry and myself and sometimes more often than our successes. On our page here we try to share with you not only the lucky ones that make it but all the little angels that dont. We dont share to gain your sympathy. We share our daily lives so you will have a better understanding of the emotional roller coaster that all carers ride. Usually sleep deprived, we can often be quite grumpy and there are many times it is so difficult to put on a smile. Having said that, the unconditional love we receive in return from these amazing creatures when they look up into our eyes with so much trust is more than enough to keep us going through the hard times. How lucky are we. Thank you to each and every one of you for caring so much. I would have loved to answer each of you individually but, to be honest, there are so many messages and each one has had me in tears. It would take me days to dry my eyes enough to answer each of you. It is now 10 past 6 in the morning and time to for the next feed for the little ones so, I must dry my eyes again and start getting their bottles ready. Once again, thank you for caring.
