I have just had an invitation extended to me to sit in on the National Committee of the Socialist Party of England and Wales as a visitor in June. I consider it both an honour and a privilege to be valued by the party that I continue to admire. Im proud to be a Socialist Party member and I hope that my unique perspective will help to enrich the party the way I know the party will continue to enrich me. I would like to thank my friends, family and in particular Robin Clapp and Alex Moore for their helping to get me to where I am today. I know plenty of people who are fed up with politics and politicians because generally politics has been corrupted by those out to line their own pockets. I would invite anybody who feels this way to consider getting involved with, or indeed joining the Socialist Party as a means of building an alternative. Politics isnt an inherently bad thing, even if the politics we see today generally is.
