I have just learned of the passing of Dr. Sophia Yin. For those of you that do not know her, she was a kind advocate for the humane treatment of dogs everywhere. She was committed, among other things, to showing people how to truly connect with their dogs. Her contributions drove the animal behavior world forward. Her passing is a profound loss for all of us. I had the pleasure of corresponding with her from time to time and we had talked about collaborating in order to further the cause we were both so passionate about. I am so sad that we will not have this chance. Dr. Yin, you will be missed by millions.
